Role overview

The Marketing Assistant role has been created to assist the sales and marketing managers and will be pivotal in the role of brand promotion contributing to the increasing growth of the company. The candidate will be responsible for blog writing and content creation for our internal marketing activities whilst also assisting with creative and marketing administrative tasks for adhoc client projects.

Describe a typical day

There is never a dull day at Koala HQ, every day is different. A cup of tea or coffee in the morning, a chat about last night’s dinner then we kick off the day with a stand up meeting. A full run through of each client and then we discuss each staff member’s plan for the day – it doesn’t always go to plan but, hey ho, everyone loves a to do list!

Main duties / responsibilities include

Data – market research, sourcing data, compiling reports, analysing our marketing activity including Sales campaigns

Content – assisting our content manager with content planning, copywriting, blog writing, sourcing images, updating websites and scheduling social media posts.

Creative – assisting our designer and marketing manager with conceptual research, moodboarding, competitor analysis, briefing documentation, creating newsletters, resizing images and setting up design projects.

Working with our office assistant to source Digital PR Opportunities and create backlinks to assist with Off-page SEO.
